Volcani International Partnerships

Conference Environment & Marketing

Volcani International — Israel’s largest agricultural research and innovation institution — had the opportunity to introduce itself to the 18,000 attendees at the AIPAC Policy Conference and wanted to make the most of it. That’s where we and our PR partners, Red Banyan, came in.

We designed a 700 sq.ft., museum-quality exhibit that told the story of who Volcani is and explained its mission to improve the world’s food supply through agricultural research and innovation.

As is often is the case, our first task was to make sense of extensive client-supplied information. Careful sorting and ordering led us to conceive a floor plan with four distinct “neighborhoods” defined by two very large panels each.

We simultaneously worked with our copywriter from Red Banyan to craft the descriptions while coordinating design details with the fabricator. We also designed a 12-page overview brochure, multimedia content for the exhibit, a digital press kit, social media training, and investor pitch deck.

More than 10,000 people came through the exhibit over the three-day event. And Volcani received a large number of attendees interested in supporting and/or investing in their projects.

“The team at BSD went above and beyond. We had a massive project and short deadline and they not only delivered, but provided the kind of guidance and commitment we never would have known to ask for — leading to an incredible end result we never could have imagined.”
