Virtual Fundraising Gala
During the COVID pandemic, is it possible to exceed your fundraising goal? The New Israel Fund set out to do so, planning and executing a “national virtual gala,” which was attended by more than 1,000 supporters from the U.S. and Israel, raising over $900,000. Our team wrote and designed the branded components for both the event marketing and online experience. We developed the theme and crafted the fundraising appeals describing donor benefits and special access events. Our team also delivered branded templates for email, e-vites, pre-sell sheets, e-registration and special event web pages. Then we worked with NIF’s gala team and our event partners Talking Tree Creative, to create a branded entry portal, animated transitions, branded slide shows and virtual backgrounds for speakers.
It was a smashing success, incorporating musical performances, celebrity speakers, and messages from NIF leadership and grantees, all beautifully choreographed and geared for a moving experience that brought supporters closer to the organization and each other.
